Capacity building - Training on Sanitation

As part of my services with WASH Institute, i have involved in organizing and delivering Sanitation training for the Engineers, SWSM, SWSO and officials from Panchayat Raj department and NGO peoples from the state of Uttar Pradesh Jharkahnd and Rajasthan 

A three day training program on the topic of “Sustainable Sanitation, Ecological Sanitation and School Sanitation” The topics dealt in this training were the Sanitation scenario in India, Sector Overview MDGs and linkage with WATSAN, different sanitation options. A special focus was given to ECOSAN, introduction, principle of ECOSAN, step by step construction, economic values of ECOSAN and DOs and DONts on ECOSAN. On the school sanitation – the introduction on school WASH, step to implement the school WASH, committee formation, roles and responsibility, lessons plans for age specific and methods of hygiene promotion.
